Job Summary:
Netspend Corporation is a global financial services and technology company dedicated to innovative financial empowerment solutions. The VP, Analytics & BI will oversee data and analytics projects, driving insights to support decision-making and enhance business performance across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Develop an ongoing data science roadmap to shape Ouro Global’s future while solving business challenges.
• Serve as an objective, agnostic advisor, by leading and overseeing all data & analytics projects that support critical decision-making across Ouro Global functions.
• Work closely with multiple senior leaders (particularly the VP, Lifecycle Marketing) to make sure their growth agenda and business decisions are supported with timely, accurate, actionable data and insights.
• Be a senior and visible leader inside Ouro Global and a key member of the senior leadership team, overseeing groundbreaking data science, research and analysis that solves business challenges at the highest levels.
• Surface valuable insights from complex data sets, and derive the relevant insight and tell their Ouro Global colleagues a compelling story about what it means to the business, and what they should consider doing as a result.
• Oversee Analytics and BI for Ouro Global’s marketing, ensuring strong insight and decision support for all channels including dashboards, tagging, performance monitoring and identification of business opportunities and issues.
• Oversee champion/challenger and multivariate testing analytics to assist in the delivery of exceptional customer experiences, new product and application launches and site enhancements.
• Ensure ‘best in class’ Analytics approaches/tools and ROI/ROAS modeling to enhance profitability for clients.
• Drive the development of more accurate and sophisticated multi-touch attribution models, to determine how and where to assign credit for traffic, acquisition and conversion, across a variety of marketing and communications touchpoints in Ouro Global’s consumer engagement journey.
• Enable both offline and digital agency and client leaders to make better choices on their investments, resulting in lower CPA and higher LTV.
• Serve as the architect of recommendations for best-in-class omnichannel campaigns and/or other digital initiatives, which includes pre-campaign analysis and planning, campaign management, test/learn/optimize/pivot, post-campaign analysis and recommendations for continuous optimization.
• Deepen Ouro Global’s understanding of customer needs and further build relationships across Ouro Global’s senior leadership team.
• Work with cross-functional leadership to help identify new areas of expertise and create new solutions, new services, and new IP, which will help drive revenue, client engagement, and the overall value of Ouro Global’s products.
• Work closely with Ouro Global’s business leaders to forecast customer segment, campaign and channel performance.
• Develop standardized, automated reports and ad hoc requests that monitor customer journeys and behaviors and provide a benchmark for actionable insights.
• Partner with IT to develop a keen understanding of all sources of customer data, and then optimize how data and customer views/files are organized and utilized across the Ouro Global organization.
• Own critical direct response models to maximize ROI and evolve the organization towards a more sophisticated Multi-Touch Attribution Marketing Mix Model.
• Working closely with agency and internal Ouro Global business leaders to define concrete objectives and measures of success, for all digital and traditional activities and programs.
• This will include measuring all marketing performance and attribution to glean a crystal-clear picture of ROI and how each marketing investment is paying off.
• Measurements will look at all digital channels, all marketing automations, CRM efforts and ERP platforms (e.g., Adobe, Marketo, Salesforce).
• Lead Ouro Global’s efforts to identify, engage and hire new talent in the Analytics, Data Science & BI function to support the expansion of both capacity and capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master’s degree in Engineering Systems Management, or a related field plus twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
• Building and productionalizing AI/ML models in the marketing space in the ecommerce industry.
• Building and leading analytics teams.
• Experience managing large teams of highly skilled data scientists, data engineers to provide AI/ML solutions and data products which supports online and offline advertising/acquisition.
• Lead several strategic initiatives which require communication with different parts of the organization and presenting results to the executive team.
• Seasoned Marketing analytic professional with experience in marketing attribution, offline and online media optimization and execution.
• Experience with all major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian and TU) and alternate bureaus like NCTUE to inform acquisition, policy, underwriting and compliance for profitable customer acquisition.
• Accomplished data driven senior analytics leader with proven ability to generate large-scale consumer demand, develop motivated teams, and consistently achieve business objectives for growth-oriented companies with 11 years of experience.
• Experienced with SQL, Python, R, SAS, and Tableau.
• Hands-on experience building analytics solutions using data that allows users to understand the financial impact of decisions they make and where to allocate resources.
