WHAT WE NEED:

Havas Edge is seeking a VP, Analytics to join our Analytics practice and help develop accurate models that predict impact of tactical media activities on our clients' business.

The VP, Analytics will lead, develop, and manage all aspects of our Health Media Client's Analytics, back-office analytics, and decision modeling. This includes report design, data capture development, and implementation processes. The VP will work with a variety of data sources to continuously evolve the metrics used to measure the effectiveness and ROI of activities across all campaign types. You will partner closely with the Senior Vice President of Data Science and Modeling around the design, development, and maintenance of our data management and analytics environment to enable industry-leading analytic solutions that positively impact our clients' business. This role is client facing and new business presentations are part of this role.

The ideal candidate exemplifies a passion for analytics, can identify statistically significant causal relationships, is comfortable working with big data and developing actional insights, and is fascinated by consumer behavior.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Assisting in business development and growth by collaborating with partners and clients to develop and implement new analytical methodologies aimed at increasing revenue.
  • Providing marketing performance analysis for client engagements by understanding client business goals and designing tailored analytic approaches.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop client tools and services, such as modeling, dashboard development, decision aids, and business case analysis, to support programs and creative solutions.
  • Working closely with the team to provide specific and actionable recommendations for clients and securing additional client engagements.
  • Creating team structures and resource allocation plans to optimize analytics capabilities.
  • Partnering seamlessly across the enterprise to access information and drive strategies and implementation.
  • Determining and implementing operational procedures and leading the analytics group in project and resource management.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with staff, internal partners, and clients.
  • Advocating for changes that align with the vision of the department and organization.
  • Participating in new business pitches and representing analytics in these discussions.
  • Promoting process and organizational efficiency through automation.
  • Identify and develop innovative solutions to add to Havas Edge's advanced analytics portfolio. Evaluate tools and investment opportunities in this space that aid in our expansion of products offering.
  • Support the SVP with driving the departments vision, roadmap, and key projects, from requirements to delivery.
  • Manage the design, development, validation and delivery of algorithms, statistical models, and reporting tools. The goal of these tools are to provide strategic and actional insights to stakeholders.
  • Leverage machine learning, statistical and programming skills in analyzing large datasets to extract actionable insights that inform experimental design and model development.
  • Establish and drive best practices for repeated application, automation of reoccurring reports, and model monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to build critical infrastructure along the Data Science lifecycle, and help facilitate model integration and deployment.
  • Understand business priorities to help prioritize and deliver against goals and milestones.
  • Mentor and develop the skillsets of the junior team members and help reach their full potential.
  • Embrace a fast paced, collaborative environment dedicated to building atop cutting-edge technology through best-in-class machine learning initiatives • Lead pharmaceutical analytics initiatives by applying Crossix's DIFA (Data Intelligence for Advertisers) platform to measure and optimize HCP and DTC campaign performance, connecting marketing exposure to actual prescription lift, patient starts, and brand share across specialty and primary care markets.
  • Implement and scale Crossix-powered measurement frameworks across pharma client engagements, including configuring privacy-safe patient-level linkage, defining KPIs aligned to Rx outcomes, and translating Crossix insights into actionable media and targeting recommendations that inform channel mix, audience segmentation, and investment decisions.
  • Develop and oversee pharma-specific analytics solutions that address the full patient journey — from awareness and diagnosis through treatment initiation and adherence — leveraging claims data, EHR insights, and longitudinal health datasets to inform brand strategy and media investment.
  • Partner with pharmaceutical clients and internal account teams to design analytics frameworks that comply with HIPAA, FDA promotional guidelines, and industry privacy standards (NAI, DAA), ensuring all measurement and targeting methodologies are both analytically rigorous and regulatory-sound.
  • Apply closed-loop measurement techniques to link DTC and HCP media campaigns to downstream Rx outcomes, enabling pharmaceutical clients to quantify return on media investment and optimize promotional spend across digital, programmatic, television, and point-of-care channels.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years' in marketing analytics or business intelligence, with a focus on analytics
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience leading and/or managing a team in a technical capacity
  • Extensive experience in the digital space.
  • Ability to lead data workstreams and represent analytics in new business pitches.
  • Experience providing company-wide points of view and training on emerging technologies and new analytics methodologies.
  • You are proficient in statistical analysis software applications such as SAS, Stata, SPSS, or equivalent
  • You have advanced knowledge of relational database concepts, data hygiene, and architecture with ability to perform complex queries in a SQL Server environment
  • You have proven proficiency in multivariate analytics, econometric modeling, Bayesian probability and logic, and analysis of variance, with advanced knowledge of data management concepts and its application in predictive modeling
  • You demonstrate an expertise in time series ensemble modeling, multivariate regression and classification, survival analysis, cluster analysis, design of experiments, and machine learning algorithms learning algorithms
  • You have expert ability to identify appropriate statistical procedures to address specific business or data insight challenges
  • You understand complex consumer behavior and businesses concepts, including financial, operational, and strategic aspects
  • You are experienced in managing multiple projects at once and prioritizing accordingly from concept to completion, all while meeting deliverable in a timely manner
  • You work well under pressure, while maintaining accuracy, strict confidentiality, and a professional demeanor
  • You have prior experience in participating or leading presentations, talking with clarity and confidence to clients and internal stakeholders on complex topics using the data to tell and support the story
  • You enjoy interacting with people at all levels of the organization (internal and external stakeholders) and fostering strong cross-functional teamwork
  • You have outstanding written and oral communications skills and the ability to think strategically
  • You have a desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dead-line driven environment
  • You are familiar with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • You are familiar with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
  • You have direct experience working with pharmaceutical or life sciences clients, with a strong understanding of the drug commercialization lifecycle, brand launch analytics, HCP targeting, and patient activation strategies.
  • You are knowledgeable in Crossix or comparable pharma measurement platforms (e.g., IQVIA OCE, Veeva Pulse, Komodo Health), and understand how to apply these tools to generate Rx-outcome-driven insights that resonate with pharma brand and marketing teams.
