The Role:

The VP, Analytics is responsible forshaping and leading the analytic approach, planning and client delivery of insights across client engagements and internal initiativeswith a strong emphasis on hands‑on delivery, rigor, and measurable client impact.This role oversees reporting and dashboards, data management and quality, advanced measurement approaches, and performance optimization—ensuring analytics drives meaningful business outcomes.

This role partners closely with client executives, media planning and activation, strategy, technology, and data science teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable intelligence.The VP remains actively engaged in the work—providing direct oversight, guidance, and, where needed, hands‑on contribution to complex analyses and executive-ready deliverables. This role is critical to strengthening and maturing the organization’s application of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improvespeed, scale, and impact within department workflows.

Location: Candidates must be located in Illinois, Texas, Colorado, or Michigan. For individuals based in our Michigan and Illinois locations, this will be a hybrid role, requiring both in-office and remote work. For candidates in Texas and Colorado, this position will be fully remote.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help shape the strategic direction for analytics across clients and internal teams, aligning measurement frameworks to business objectives and outcomes
  • Lead analytics planning, prioritization, and day to day resource allocation across accounts and initiatives remaining closely involved in execution priorities to ensure quality and consistency
  • Establish and uphold best practices forclient analytics delivery, reporting, and data quality
  • Serve as the senior, client-facing analytics lead within account teams , influencing cross-functionaldecisions related to measurement, optimization, and performance

Client Engagement & Business Impact

  • Own day-to-day key client relationships for analytics, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring clarity, confidence, and consistent delivery against client expectations
  • Act as a hands‑on advisor to client leadership on measurement strategy, test-and-learn frameworks, performance evaluation, and optimization approaches
  • Translate data and media insights into clear, strategic recommendations across channels and platforms
  • Ensure analytics outputs are tied to business outcomes, not just media or platform metrics
  • Review and approve client deliverables to ensure accuracy, clarity, and executive-level relevance

Advanced Measurement & Media Analytics

  • Lead and contribute directly to advanced measurement approaches including attribution, incrementality, experimentation, and performance modeling
  • Guide optimization strategies that improve media efficiency and effectiveness against defined objectives
  • Partner with media and strategy teams to ensure analytics informs planning, activation, and investment decisions
  • Identify and apply practical AI and automation opportunities within analytics workflows that improve efficiency, insight clarity, and delivery speed, in partnership with product and data leadership
  • Collaborate with department leadership and the SVP on emerging AI tools and technologies for analytics use cases, balancing innovation with practicality, data integrity, and governance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a focused, high-performing analytics team, fostering strong execution discipline, analytical rigor, and clear client communication
  • Act as a player/coach, providing hands‑on guidance and direct execution on complex client challenges
  • Build career paths, skill development plans, and learning opportunities—particularly in advanced analytics and AI literacy
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth Enablement

  • Collaborate closely with media planning and activation, creative, strategy, data, and technology teams to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Support new business efforts, including RFPs and pitches, by articulating analytics approaches and value
  • Partner with internal and external analytics and technology partners to develop new capabilities and offerings
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics or business intelligence, preferably within marketing services, media, or digital organizations
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing analytics teams
  • Deep understanding of the media and marketing ecosystem, including measurement, attribution, and optimization approaches
  • Hands‑on experience with business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of data automation, data modeling, and analytics infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience applying or partnering on AI- and machine learning–driven analytics solutions
  • Strong analytical judgment—able to assess data quality, understand methodological trade-offs, and move from insight to action
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience delivering executive‑level narratives
  • Comfort operating in a hands‑on capacity, including direct engagement with data, reporting tools, and analytics outputs when needed

The hiring range for this role is $140,000 - $165,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
