JOB TITLE: Vice President, Analytics

DEPARTMENT: Analytics

REPORTS TO: Chief Analytics Officer


MAJOR PURPOSE:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Analytics to lead our advanced analytics and media analytics functions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the media landscape and possess a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business growth. This role requires a leader who can not only manage and mentor a team of analysts but also act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable business insights.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's analytics strategy, aligning with overall business objectives. Champion a data-driven culture throughout the organization.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analytics professionals. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Media Analytics: Oversee all aspects of media analytics, including:
    • Linear TV, DRTV & Offline: Analyze viewership data, campaign performance, and audience trends.
    • CTV & Streaming Audio: Drive insights from streaming platform data, user engagement, and content performance.
    • Display, Social, and Search: Optimize digital advertising campaigns through robust analysis of performance metrics, attribution models, and A/B testing.
  • Web Analytics & Implementation:
    • Manage and provide strategic direction for web analytics, including user behavior, conversion funnels, and site performance.
    • Oversee team that provide architecture and website implementation support for clients
  • Advanced Analytics & Modeling:
    • Provide strategic oversight and interpretation of Media Mix Model (MMM) outputs. Translate complex MMM findings into clear, actionable business strategies for media planning and budget allocation.
    • Lead the design and analysis of various marketing tests, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, and holdout experiments, to measure the incremental impact of marketing initiatives.
    • Engineering oversight to ensure media data delivery is accurate and useful
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key partner to senior leadership in Marketing, Media Investment, and Brand, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Data Governance & Technology: Champion best practices for data governance, quality, and privacy. Stay abreast of new analytics technologies and tools, and recommend investments to enhance our capabilities.
    • Net Conversion has its own propriety data platform, Conversionomics, which the Advanced Analytics team uses daily
    • It is expected that your team will provide feedback and ideation for features that will support the team’s access to insights and accurate data delivery
Requirements:

CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in the media industry with a deep understanding of the media landscape, including OTT, streaming audio, display, social, and search. Offline channels a plus, e.g. OOH, Linear, DRTV.
  • Proven experience in overseeing and interpreting Media Mix Model (MMM) output and other advanced analytical techniques.
  • Strong background in test design and statistical analysis.
  • Expertise in web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team.
