The Position
We are looking for a Remote Vetting Coordinator, based in Colombia,to support our candidate verification process in the UK market.
This role will be responsible for conducting video calls with candidates to perform identity (impostor) checks and assess compliance requirements, including Modern Slavery-related questions, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct video calls with candidates to perform impostor checks and identity verification.
  • Ask and assess a defined set of Modern Slavery and vetting -related questions during candidate interviews.
  • Use Firstwork, an AI-powered verification tool, to support and document candidate assessments.
  • Ensure all checks are completed accurately and in line with UK recruitment and compliance regulations.
  • Meet clear productivity targets (calls per hour/day /week) while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Provide structured and continuous feedback to improve AI tools and verification processes.
  • Flag potential compliance risks or inconsistencies detected during candidate checks.
  • Work independently in a fully remote environment.

A successful candidate will have:
  • High level of digital literacy and confidence working with computers, software, and AI-based tools
  • Comfort working with repetitive tasks and performance-based targets
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes consistently
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in conducting video calls
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback to improve tools and processes
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working setup
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote role
  • Weekend availability is required
