Mustang Cat is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Rental Coordinator to join our team in Northwest Houston. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, coordinating equipment rentals from initial inquiry through billing while ensuring a positive customer experience and supporting efficient branch operations.

What You'll Do as a Rental Coordinator:

As a Rental Coordinator, you will manage the day-to-day rental process, ensuring customers receive the right equipment, on time and with outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers by phone, email, and in person to identify equipment solutions that meet their rental needs
  • Prepare quotes, process rental agreements, and coordinate rental transactions from start to finish
  • Coordinate customer requests and ensure timely fulfillment of rental orders
  • Schedule and dispatch transportation for equipment deliveries, transfers, and returns
  • Utilize internal systems and resources to verify equipment availability and coordinate rentals efficiently
  • Monitor rental contracts, billing, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Build strong customer relationships by providing responsive, professional service
  • Work closely with operations, service, and other branch personnel to maximize equipment utilization and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Technical Studies, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand equipment applications and customer needs

Strongly Preferred:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, heavy equipment, or related industries
