Job description

Company Overview

At Ocean City Vacation Homes, weโ€™re more than just a vacation rental company. Weโ€™re a family-built business founded and operated by three brothers who believe in hard work, reliability, teamwork, and creating exceptional experiences for both guests and homeowners.

Over the years, weโ€™ve built a fast-growing company by staying hands-on, moving quickly, and genuinely caring about the quality of everything we do. From the homes we manage to the guest experience we provide, we believe details matter and strong people make all the difference.

As we continue to grow, weโ€™re looking to bring photography and media production fully in-house with someone who is creative, motivated, dependable, and excited to help shape the visual identity of our brand.

Position Summary

Ocean City Vacation Homes is seeking a full-time Vacation Rental Photographer & Content Creator to help elevate our property marketing, social media presence, and overall brand experience through high-quality visual storytelling.

This role combines real estate photography, video production, short-form social media content, and hospitality storytelling across our growing portfolio of vacation rental properties.

The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You should be equally comfortable photographing luxury interiors, capturing engaging video content, editing polished marketing assets, and collaborating with the team to showcase our properties in the best possible way.

This is an on-site role based in Ocean City, Maryland.

What You'll Do
  • Photograph vacation and rental properties for listings and marketing materials

  • Shoot video tours and highlight reels to support bookings and visibility

  • Create engaging photo and video content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more

  • Coordinate shoot schedules with the team and property owners

  • Edit and deliver polished, professional assets in a timely manner

  • Help maintain visual consistency across the companyโ€™s marketing channels

  • Capture lifestyle and guest-focused content when appropriate

  • Assist with seasonal campaigns, branding initiatives, and promotional projects

  • Organize and maintain media libraries and digital assets

What We're Looking For
  • 1+ years minimum previous experience in real estate, vacation rental, hospitality, or architectural photography

  • Strong portfolio showcasing relevant photography and/or videography work

  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar programs

  • Strong understanding of lighting, composition, interior staging, and visual storytelling

  • Experience creating content optimized for social media platforms

  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple shoots and deadlines

  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills

  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and efficiently

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, hardworking team environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Drone photography and videography experience

  • FAA Part 107 certification

  • Experience in short-term rentals, hospitality, or tourism marketing

  • Social media strategy or content planning experience

  • Basic graphic design skills

  • Experience capturing lifestyle, family, or promotional content

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary $60,000โ€“$95,000 based on experience and portfolio quality

Benefits

  • Paid time off such as PTO, sick days, and vacation days

  • Retirement benefits

  • Gym memberships or other discounts

  • Opportunity for long-term career growth within a rapidly growing company

  • Supportive, hardworking, family-oriented company culture

  • Consistent year-round work with a growing portfolio of properties

  • Opportunity to work across luxury vacation homes, hospitality experiences, and lifestyle-focused content

Why Join Ocean City Vacation Homes?

This is not a freelance-style photography gig. Weโ€™re looking for someone who wants to become an important part of a growing company and help build the long-term visual identity of our brand.

Your work will directly impact bookings, guest experiences, social media growth, and the way homeowners and guests experience Ocean City Vacation Homes before they ever walk through the front door.

If youโ€™re someone who takes pride in creating exceptional visual content, enjoys working hard alongside a close-knit team, and wants to grow with a company that values creativity and initiative, weโ€™d love to hear from you.
