What You'll Do
This position will be located at our Corporate Office: 2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027    

This position completes loan and member service functions and other related projects and duties, ensuring timely and accurate servicing in accordance with member expectations. This position ensures that all aspects of commercial loan servicing and cash management is compliant with federal and state regulations.

Essential Functions

  • Proactively support business members and effectively resolve member business needs and inquiries.
  • Process new small business loan applications and renewal/modification requests through funding.
  • Prepares loan documentation and captures loan information according to established procedures, for company-generated and participation bought/sold loans.
  • Ensures required information and documentation is ordered, executed, and filed, such as for appraisals, collateral, titles, liens, etc.
  • Funds loans, prepares wires, and posts entries on loans.  Performs quality control review on funded loans.
  • Processes loan payments, advance requests, and payoff demands.
  • Executes lien perfection through recording/filing with appropriate state and county offices.
  • Closes out paid-off files, including releases of collateral, discharges of deeds of trust, and related processes.
  • Prepare new vehicle titles to request payment from loan servicer.  Prepares vehicle title releases and issues payment checks.
  • Updates and maintains insurance and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings in banking and account processing platform.
  • Posts, updates, maintains, tracks, and follows up on automated notifications in platform(s) supporting credit analysis, financial analysis, and risk management.
  • Manages tax reporting with third-party provider. Manage delinquent tax notifications with designated banker
  • Prepares monthly 1502 SBA Reporting, maintenance and updates required within 3rd party system.
  • Sets up commercial share savings accounts and accounts for cash management clients.
  • Supports cash management clients and administers related accounts.
  • Process business credit card applications through funding.
  • Ensures effective processes and workflows by posting, updating, and maintaining tracking/tickler information (e.g., in Sageworks, Microsoft Outlook, etc.).
  • Creates, refreshes, and improves processes and provides updates to procedures as needed.
  • Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Associate's Degree Preferred 
  • Five or more years' financial services experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience with business/commercial loan documentation preparation, and/or in business lending or similar loan operations and servicing functions.
  • Experience preferred with document preparation systems (e.g., LaserPro, HotDocs, or similar). Preferred
  • Solid knowledge of business/commercial loan types. Knowledge of commercial loan closing and funding requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial loan servicing, SBA lending and lending practices. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills in promptly responding to customer needs.
  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP)
