UltraViolet Cyber (UVC) is seeking to hire a Federal Sales Specialist to expand our public sector footprint by delivering mission-critical cybersecurity services to federal agencies. This individual will be responsible for managing long-cycle sales, building relationships with other vendors and prospective clients, navigating complex procurement regulations (like GSA schedules), and submitting proposals to meet, or exceed, sales quotas.
What You'll Do:
ย  ย Business Development: Identify, prospect, and qualify new opportunities within federal, civilian, or DoD agencies to build a robust sales pipeline.
ย  ย Proposal Support: Assist our proposal team in constructing industry leading proposals to meet government requirements.
ย  ย Relationship Management: Build trust with government buyers, procurement officers, and key stakeholders, often navigating complex, multi-level organizations.
ย  ย Compliance & Contracting: Understand federal acquisition regulations, procurement processes, and contract vehicles (e.g., GSA schedules, IDIQs).
ย  ย Research & Target Identification: Using CRM and research tools (e.g., Salesforce, GovWin) to identify key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within government agencies.
ย  ย Strategic Selling: Develop and conduct product demonstrations and leverage partner ecosystems to expand market share.
ย  ย Market Intelligence: Monitor government funding cycles, industry trends, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
ย  ย CRM Management: Maintaining accurate records of interactions, activities, and contact information in Salesforce.ย

What You Bring:
ย  ย Experience: Proven experience in B2B or government sales, with 3-10 years of sales experience in cybersecurity, cloud, or technical solutions.
ย  ย Knowledge: Understanding of federal buying habits, long-cycle sales, and government procurement regulations.
ย  ย Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
ย  ย Background Check: Ability to pass security clearance or background checks/investigations, often required for site access.
ย  ย Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.ย 
$75,000 - $100,000 a year
Total compensation to be expected will be commission tied to the sales quota.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors.
