Description

Position Scope

FPS Food Process Solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Manager - Scandinavia to drive business growth across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. This role will promote FPS's complete portfolio of freezing and foodprocessing technologies to customers in key food industry sectors by engaging food manufacturers in the red meat, fish, poultry, bakery, ice cram, dairy, pet food, fruits and vegetables, and readymeal sectors.

This is a remote role, based anywhere in Scandinavia or nearby EU regions, with regular regional travel required.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Regional Growth

  • Lead sales activities across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.
  • Develop and execute countryspecific strategies tailored to each foodprocessing market.
  • Visit customer sites to assess production processes and recommend FPS solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports.

Customer & Partner Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with food manufacturers and regional partners.
  • Provide technical sales guidance to support system selection and project scoping.
  • Collaborate with FPS engineering, applications, and project teams.

Market Development

  • Track competitor trends and identify new opportunities across Scandinavian markets.
  • Attend relevant trade shows and regional industry events.
  • Provide insights to internal FPS teams to guide product and service improvements.

Qualifications & Abilities

  • 5+ years of capital equipment sales experience in the food manufacturing or industrial processing industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of freezing systems or related food processing technologies (IQF, spiral, tunnel, cooling systems).
  • Successful sales experience across multiple markets in Scandinavia or Northern Europe.
  • Fluency in English (required).
  • Proficiency in any Scandinavian language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish) is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Experience presenting technical solutions, performing site assessments, and supporting engineering-driven sales.
  • Background in engineering, business, food science, or related fields.
  • Existing relationships across Scandinavian food processing sectors.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision in a remote environment, managing a broad territory with strong self-motivation.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region (50-70%).
