Senior Coordinator, Private Sector Partnerships (Brussels)ย 

Department: Resource Developmentย 

Location: Brusselsย 

Reports to: Manager, Private Sector Partnershipsย 

Status: Full-time (One year contract as starting point)ย 

Position Summaryย 

The Senior Coordinator, Private Sector Partnerships provides high-level coordination and strategic support for the organization's relationships with private sector funders, including U.S. and European corporations, and individual philanthropists on both sides of the Atlantic. Based in Brussels, this role supports fundraising operations, external engagement, and internal coordination, ensuring partnerships are well managed and aligned with organizational priorities.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Private Sector Partnership Coordination:ย 
  • Coordinate the full life cycle of private sector partnerships, including proposals, grant agreements, reporting, renewals, and stewardship.ย 
  • Support U.S. and European corporate relationships, as well as individual philanthropic funders.ย 
  • Maintain tracking of deadlines, requirements, and commitments.ย 
  • Serve as a coordination point between Resource Development, programs, Finance, and other partners.ย 
  • Strategic Support and Donor Engagement:ย 
  • Prepare briefings and research for funder engagement.ย 
  • Support meetings led by the Manager, Private Sector Partnerships; VP of Development, and other senior staff.ย 
  • Assist in identifying and tracking new funding opportunities.ย 
  • Proposal and Reporting Support:ย 
  • Coordinate proposal and report development across teams.ย 
  • Support financial narratives and budgets with Finance.ย 
  • Ensure compliance with funder requirements.ย 

Requirements

Qualificationsย 

  • Four years of relevant experience in private sector fundraising within a think tank or similar nonprofit organization.ย ย 
  • Familiarity with European and/or US corporate and individual philanthropy.ย 
  • Strong project management and writing skills.ย 
  • Interest in transatlantic and international affairs.ย ย 
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages desirable but not required.

Education

  • Bachelor's or higher educational degree is required.
