Job description

Job Summary:
Accenture Federal Services is dedicated to helping the US federal government enhance national security and improve the quality of life for people. They are seeking a Cybersecurity Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect IT infrastructure and systems from threats.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement security measures for IT infrastructure and systems.
• Maintain security protocols to protect data, systems, and networks from threats.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Utilize security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree (or 4 years additional equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 4 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Experience with security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption
• Possess a DoD 8140 Certification
• Must be a US citizen (No Dual Citizenship)
• Active Secret Clearance.
Preferred:
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CAP)
