THE WORK:
Become a leader in the premier sales force for Accenture Cybersecurity bringing market-leading enterprise grade security solutions to our midmarket clients. This is more than a traditional sales role; you will be a strategic guide, helping clients navigate their most significant security solutions. As a Mid-Market Sales Engineer, you will be the primary technical guide for our clients, acting as a trusted advisor to help them solve their most complex challenges and achieve their business objectives. You will partner with mid-market companies to shape solutions leveraging Accenture's Midmarket offerings to address their most critical security risks,
Your role is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical possibilities. You will architect and align client needs with the Accenture midmarket solutions and add-on services.
  • Act as the client's trusted advisor, guiding them on Cybersecurity solutions and how to build technologies structured for continuous innovation and growth.

  • Architect and design cutting-edge cyber solutions that are directly tied to achieving tangible business outcomes and a strong return on investment.

  • Illustrate the "art of the possible" by leading technical workshops and proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations that showcase how Accenture's midmarket solutions operate, are easy to adopt, and address security risk gaps.

  • Serve as the technical authority for the client, providing expert guidance on industry best practices, solution feasibility, and technology strategy to de-risk their investments.

  • Collaborate on crafting value-driven proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring the technical solution is sound, innovative, and aligned with the client's vision for success.

  • Ensure a smooth transition from sales through implementation, aligning customer expectations with the delivery team's execution plan.

  • Help shape and define future cybersecurity offers working with internal Accenture SMEs and ecosystem partners.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a hands-on, client-facing technology role (e.g., Security Engineer, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Technology Consultant).

  • Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience architecting and building security solutions across SOC, MDR, Identity Protection, Network Security, Zero Trust, cloud security, regulatory compliance, and AI-driven security solutions, etc.

  • Minimum of 10 years Consulting or sales experience leading innovation and stakeholder management including engineering, operating models and engineering best practices.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience understanding cybersecurity services and the challenges faced by Midmarket companies today

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience leading delivery teams, distributed across the globe and well versed in project management methodologies and industry best practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
