Job description

About Oden:

Manufacturing is undergoing its fourth industrial revolution, with factory operations increasingly driven by real-time applications that combine process and context data with advanced ML and AI algorithms. This is unlocking a staggering opportunity to improve the efficiency and productivity of existing manufacturing processes.

As a Manufacturing AI company, Oden is at the forefront of this revolution. We combine large-scale data processing architectures and advanced AI and ML algorithms within the Oden platform so manufacturing operations teams can continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize their production, across a diverse set of processes and conditions. Our goal is to maximize efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness in the manufacturing domain - to help True Makers Make Things Better!

Culture
  • We obsess over customers. Everything we do is to create profound results and delight for our customers. Every Viking cares about the purpose of the product and company, and prioritizes work based on customer end results. When in doubt, we go to the Gemba – we’re happy to put on steel toe boots and hit the factory floor to work with the production manager.

  • We move fast and follow through – we live by transparent and scientific thinking, act with urgency, and put in the work to find the best ideas with those around us.

  • We elevate each other by giving and receiving direct, honest feedback and holding ourselves and others to a high standard to help the team rise, deliver, and win together.

  • “Be True Makers to Serve True Makers.” We’re building a community that fuels innovation and accelerates our pace and impact. We always ask if there’s a better way to do something, even if it's unconventional – then we try it. We aim for bold yet simple solutions that cut through complexity and drive meaningful progress.

Role Summary

We're looking for an Event Marketing Coordinator to join our team, reporting to Peter, our co-founder. This role owns the planning and execution of Oden's in-person events (tradeshows, customer engagements, and occasional webinars) and also plays a hands-on role in our marketing systems, building campaigns, lists, and flows in HubSpot, and supporting content and web work. We're looking for a scrappy generalist, not a specialized event planner, someone who's comfortable owning both the logistics of an event and the digital process behind it. This is a great fit for someone early in their career who's highly organized, resourceful, and wants to grow across both events and marketing operations.

ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning and Coordination (75%)
  • Own the planning, budgeting, and execution of 5-6 events per year, including tradeshows and key customer/partner engagements.

  • Manage event registration, attendee correspondence, and on-site logistics, including shipment of marketing materials, promotional items, and booth equipment.

  • Build pre-event campaigns (emails, landing pages, social posts) in HubSpot to drive attendance.

  • Coordinate post-event follow-up, including nurture sequences and recap content.

  • Cultivate vendor relationships and manage invoice processing and payments.

  • Support on-site coverage at major events as needed, alongside the sales team.

  • Track lead capture and post-event performance, and report on spend and effectiveness.

  • Facilitate webinar setup and execution (Zoom or similar).

Marketing Systems and Digital Support (25%)
  • Build and manage campaigns, lists, and marketing flows end-to-end in HubSpot.

  • Support content creation and updates to the website tied to events and campaigns.

  • Assist with social media scheduling and content amplification.

  • Repurpose event content into blogs, case studies, or social assets.

  • Roll up event and campaign metrics into marketing dashboards.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in event coordination, marketing operations, or a related generalist marketing role.

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar marketing automation/CRM platform, this is a core part of the role, not a nice-to-have.

  • Comfortable building things yourself (campaigns, lists, basic web/content updates) rather than just coordinating logistics.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management, especially under event deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote or hybrid setting while collaborating closely with sales and marketing.

  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours and travel as needed for events (estimated 5-6 trips per year).

  • Location: New York or Atlanta strongly preferred. Open to Canada if easily reachable by a short flight or drive to one of our hub cities.

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Currently, Oden Technologies is unable to sponsor employment visas

Compensation: $60,000-$75,000 base, commensurate with experience.

At this time, we cannot offer visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
