Job Description

Responsibilities:ย 

This role will support the identification and development of training for the ย Tech Ops Quality Organization Including Quality functions such as Quality Control and Quality Assurance.ย 

50% Collaborate with functional area subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify the appropriate training method for the content. Provide guidance and /coaching to subject matter experts on how to effective develop training materials. Co-develop the training materials with the SME and then review training materials for effectiveness and compliance toย Training procedures and standards. Training Methods may include one of the following:ย 

Read and understandย 

Knowledge checks,ย 

E-Learning (WBT)ย 

Instructor Led Training (ILT)ย 

On the Job Training (OJT)ย 


35% Partner with functional area subject matter experts to develop Training Guides for On-the-job training (OJT), for use in Quality functions. This is part of the Training Guide Development CAPA.ย 

15% Partner with functional area subject matter experts in the Quality Organization to develop and/or rework WBT and ILT training content per the training material transition protocol project plan.ย 

Experience & Knowledge:ย 

Essential:ย 

Understanding of GMP requirements.ย 

Complete understanding and application of instructional design and adult learning principles, concepts.ย 

Technical Writing skills.ย 

Effective communication skills both verbal and written.ย 

Demonstrate high-level of professional and business judgment when communicating with cross-functional teams and others at all levels of the organizationย 

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Power Pointย 

Collaborative, customer focused and service orientedย 

Ability to prioritize and multitaskย 

Ability to work under challenging deadlines and be accountable for completing work within specified timeframesย 

Self-motivated, assertive, and energetic team playerย 

Ability to work in and be adaptable to a diverse, dynamic and team oriented environmentย 

Preferred:ย 

Experience in Manufacturing and Quality positionsย 

Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).ย 

Degree in Instructional Design or Educationย 

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)ย 

Skills/Behaviors:ย 

3+ years of experience working in a GMP role in the biotech/pharmaceutical industryย 

2+ years of experience in training developmentย
