Job Title: Training Development Specialist (ISD Tool Suite -Key User Training)
โ€ข What is the primary mission of this role?
o The primary mission of this role is to design and develop professional e-training resources that train individuals on how to use the proprietary Integrated Skills Development (ISD) Tool Suite or follow the official ISD Process. Training will result in focused, modular, and concise (10-20 minute) training modules that drive consistent user understanding and optimal usage of the ISD Tool Suite.
โ€ข What are the main functions of this role?
(Describe the tasks this contractor will be doing. This includes daily activities and any deliverables the contractor will be responsible for while working for Raytheon.):
Seeking an experienced instructional designer / eLearning developer to rapidly create concise, high-quality, workflow-oriented learning modules using provided subject matter expertise and direct SME engagement.
o Modular Training Development:
ยงDesign and develop high-quality, engaging, and interactive e-learning materials (text-based and video-based) using industry-standard tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe, and Microsoft tools.
ยงEnsure modular training resources ultimately enable an integrated understanding of all ISD Tools within the ISD Tool Suite.
o Testing and Adjustment (Continuous Improvement):
ยงConduct user testing and gather feedback from stakeholders, including the ITD Team and end users, to evaluate the clarity, relevance, and usability of training materials.
ยงRefine and enhance training resources based on feedback and performance data to ensure optimal user engagement and learning outcomes.
โ€ข Required Skill Sets:
o Expertise in e-learning development tools (e.G., Articulate 360, Adobe, Microsoft, Video).
o Proven ability to quickly gather, organize, and translate subject matter expertise into modular, effective, interactive, and engaging skill-development resources tailored to specific user profiles. (not long-form academic training)
o Proficiency in conducting SME interviews and extracting actionable operational knowledge with minimal SME burden.
o Strong understanding of adult learning, change management principles & application in training and development.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
o Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced operational environments with evolving content

o Experience in developing training programs for new system implementations.
o Demonstrated ability to lead change through training and development initiatives.
o Experience in manufacturing, operations, technical, industrial, engineering, or process-drive environments.
