Head of Talent Acquisition (Global)


I’m partnering with a global, privately backed technology business in high-growth mode to appoint a Head of Talent Acquisition.


Location: Boston (hybrid preferred) | Open to exceptional East Coast remote talent too

Comp: $180k-220k base (depending on experience), plus bonus and LTI's


This is a true build-from-scratch opportunity. The organization (1,000 employees) operates across the US, India, EMEA, and APAC, with a significant engineering footprint in India. Talent Acquisition is being built almost from zero. This leader will define, design, and deliver the global TA strategy end-to-end.


What you’ll own:

  • Building TA foundations: processes, tooling, operating model & governance
  • Partnering closely with the CHRO and HR leadership team
  • Leading a small US & India-based recruiting team
  • Leveraging contractors, while building a long-term in-house capability
  • Driving ATS implementation (planned July) alongside broader HRIS rollout
  • Supporting high-volume global hiring, with a strong focus on technical talent in India


What we’re looking for:

  • A scrappy, builder-minded TA leader who thrives in ambiguity
  • Background in high-growth tech or startup environments
  • Experience operating within lean TA teams, where you’ve had to roll up your sleeves and maximize impact with limited resources
  • Strong track record hiring for technical / software / engineering roles, with depth in India hiring (critical)
  • A highly hands-on leader who stays close to delivery and is actively involved in hiring
  • Excellent executive presence, with a track record of building trusted relationships and communicating effectively with senior leadership
  • Someone who can operate seamlessly between strategy and execution
