Job Title: Multimedia Training Developer Job Category: Training Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity Join a multidisciplinary team developing eLearning, multimedia, and interactive technical training solutions for complex systems. This role is evenly split between developing eLearning products and creating multimedia and web-based content for an Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM). The Multimedia Training Developer will create interactive courses, branching scenarios, video tutorials, animations, graphics, and technical web content. The position will also occasionally deliver classroom training and support the deployment of the IETM and Learning Management System. This position is full-time onsite in Fairfax, Virginia, with approximately 10-20% travel. Responsibilities * Develop interactive eLearning courses, branching scenarios, software simulations, assessments, and video-based tutorials using Adobe Captivate and Articulate.
* Publish, test, and troubleshoot SCORM- and xAPI-compliant content in Moodle or a similar LMS.
* Create and edit instructional videos, animations, graphics, and multimedia using Camtasia, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Adobe Animate.
* Develop and maintain IETM content using HTML, JavaScript, JSON, video, animation, graphics, and other interactive media.
* Translate technical, operational, and maintenance requirements into clear and effective training and procedural content.
* Collaborate with instructional designers, engineers, software developers, subject-matter experts, and government stakeholders.
* Occasionally deliver classroom-based technical instruction.
* Support testing, configuration management, documentation, and deployment of LMS and IETM products.
* Work within an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence.
* Participate in design reviews, sprint activities, demonstrations, and technical planning. Required Qualifications * 5-7 years of related experience in eLearning, multimedia development, instructional technology, or technical training.
* Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required before starting employment.
* Ability to work full-time onsite in Fairfax, Virginia.
* Experience with Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline or Rise, Camtasia, and Moodle or a similar LMS.
* Experience developing SCORM- and xAPI-compliant training content.
* Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Adobe Animate.
* Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript, and JSON.
* Experience creating branching scenarios, software simulations, assessments, videos, animations, and interactive training content.
* Classroom instructor or facilitator experience.
* Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence.
* Strong communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent additional experience.
* Ability to travel approximately 10-20%. Desired Qualifications * Experience supporting containerized LMS, IETM, or web application deployments.
* Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, backend services, and configuration management.
* Experience with Blender, Unity, and C#.
