Sunnyvale, California, United States Corporate Functions

Apple manages a vast and sophisticated landscape of SAP and non‑SAP solutions that are critical to our business. This role involves collaborating with technical and functional teams to guide the architectural evolution of this ecosystem, from large‑scale system implementations to compliance and regulatory solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business, functional, and technical leads to define the strategic implementation approach (e.g., Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield) for major SAP systems like IS‑Retail, BRIM, Track & Trace and other 12 SAP systems
  • Co‑lead the Architectural Review Board to assess the impact of new initiatives on the functional and technical landscape.
  • Provide expert feedback and mentorship on solution designs, particularly for regulatory and compliance‑related projects.
  • Act as the initial screener for all initiatives with a potential SAP impact, ensuring they are routed to the appropriate teams for detailed analysis.
  • Establish, publish, and professionally enforce architectural guidelines for the entire SAP suite of applications and developed solutions.
  • Communicate and foster feedback from multiple parties, brokering decisions in situations where multiple opinions or options exist.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in the SAP domain, with a significant focus on solution or enterprise architecture.
  • Proven experience in a solution or enterprise architecture role within a large‑scale, complex SAP environment.
  • Broad functional and technical knowledge across SAP products, platforms, and technologies.
  • Experience defining and executing system strategies for large‑scale enterprise systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep expertise in any of the specific SAP solutions such as S/4HANA, IS‑Retail, BRIM, Track & Trace etc and SAP BTP
  • Direct experience with S/4HANA transformation projects (e.g., Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield).
  • Experience in hybrid environments with both on‑premise and cloud‑based SAP solutions.
  • Experience in the high‑tech, retail, or consumer electronics industry.
  • Master's degree in a related field.
Compensation & Benefits

Base pay range: $207,400 – $311,700. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses or commission payments and relocation assistance.
