Job Description:
KTM, Inc. is seeking applicants for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk position. While prior experience in shipping and receiving is helpful, it is not necessary for success at KTM. We prioritize a positive attitude, the willingness and ability to learn, and a no-drama personality that fits in with our team. Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Starting wages can rise quickly for those who show great skill and effort.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Build shipping skids.
  • Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, and neat work area.
  • Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sort and stock receivables.
  • Provide additional backup support for manufacturing.
  • Operate a forklift to move and organize products and materials.

Skills Needed:
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Read and understand blueprints.
  • Problem solving skills are essential.
  • Effective communication.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • Previous forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Knowledge Required:
  • Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Familiarity with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
  • General knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to Implement:
  • Apply shipping and receiving practices effectively.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
