As Weekend Dispatch, you will support both our customer base and internal team. Working to provide exceptional customer service, track & trace loads, and efficiently manage daily functions vital to our growing operations. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and maintain heavy email traffic
  • Provide updates to customers via phone & email
  • Track & trace a variety of loads and ensure delivery
  • Manage drivers to meet on-time requirements and efficiency levels
  • Maintain and dispatch load assignments to drivers
  • Collaborate with internal department to resolve issues
  • Enter and update load information into AS400
  • Analyze weekly score cards
  • Create weekly logistics reports
  • Manage multiple customer web portals
  • Weekend Shift - hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:00am to 6:00pm
  • Assist with other requests made of the Operations Department

Requirements

  • Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Possess proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and AS400
  • Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Logistics industry is a plus
