Lead Transportation Coordinator

Isabella County Transportation Commission (ICTC)
Mount Pleasant, Michigan
Salary: $52,000 – $62,000 annually
Full-Time | Exempt | 40 Hours per Week

The Isabella County Transportation Commission (ICTC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to serve as our Lead Transportation Coordinator. This leadership position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of public transportation services throughout Isabella County.

The successful candidate will oversee daily dispatch operations, supervise transportation staff, coordinate training initiatives, support safety and compliance programs, monitor and maintain dispatch systems, software, and hardware and serve as a key resource for operational decision-making. This position reports directly to the Transportation Manager, Deputy Director, and Executive Director.

Applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, including standing and/or sitting for extended periods; bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crouching, climbing steps, and lifting, pushing, pulling, handling, or assisting passengers as needed. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and possess visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses, sufficient to safely perform job duties. Employment is contingent upon compliance with ICTC's Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy and Over-the-Counter and Prescription Medication Policy, including random drug testing. Employees are also subject to periodic driving record reviews through the Department of State Bureau of Driver and Vehicle Record Lookup.
