At BEDGEAR, we believe efficient transportation and logistics are critical to delivering an exceptional customer experience. We're looking for a Transportation Coordinator who is passionate about logistics, transportation operations, and supply chain execution, and excited to help drive the efficient movement of goods across our global network.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating shipments, managing transportation documentation, collaborating with internal and external partners, and solving logistical challenges before they impact the business.

You won't just coordinate shipments-you'll help ensure our products move efficiently, compliantly, and on time while supporting the operational excellence that powers the BEDGEAR brand.

We're looking for someone who aligns deeply with our core values and brings the right mindset as much as the right experience.

What You'll Do

As our Transportation Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating domestic and international transportation activities while partnering closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse operations, production, procurement, customer experience, and transportation partners to ensure the seamless movement of goods throughout the supply chain.

Essential Functions (included but not limited to):

  • Coordinate, track, and trace all inbound and outbound shipments-import and export-across air, ocean, truckload, less-than-truckload, and rail transportation.
  • Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, and service failures in partnership with the Logistics Manager.
  • Manage purchase order and sales order consolidation strategies to optimize freight utilization and reduce transportation costs.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and export declarations.
  • Oversee customs clearance processes, including ABI entries, customs releases, and compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations.
  • Schedule dock appointments for both inbound and outbound freight, ensuring alignment with warehouse capacity, production schedules, and carrier availability.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data within transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and carrier portals.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly logistics performance reports, including transit times, carrier KPIs, freight spend, and exception trends.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing logistics workflows and recommending process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Maintain detailed records of shipments, customs documentation, and carrier communications for audit, compliance, and internal reporting.
  • Partner closely with Warehouse, Production, Customer Experience, and Procurement teams to resolve discrepancies, documentation issues, or delivery challenges.
  • Assist in mentoring junior team members by sharing best practices and supporting training initiatives within the logistics function.

Please note that this job description is not intended to provide an exhaustive listing of tasks, activities, or responsibilities required of the employee in this role. Tasks, responsibilities, and duties may change without notice.
