Assembles minor products or components with a small number of details within routine and highly repetitive assembly operations. Typically works at a workbench or on a conveyer line. Common tasks include checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, sniping, tying, or trimming either manually or by machine. Performs basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning. May perform miscellaneous jobs such as moving assemblies/machines or cleaning floors. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision. Typical job titles include: General Labor, Machine Operator, Maker/Packer, Assembler and Line Operator.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the setup and operation of Accuclave-related equipment, including coilers, resistance welders, skinners, shrink machines, loopers, and crimpers.

Skills & Experience

  • Some manufacturing or production experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Previous wire and cable experience is a plus
  • Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality

Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely, accurately, and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free workspace always.
  • Ensure all aisles and walkways remain clear to support safe evacuation and emergency access.
  • Maintain a professional, respectful, and considerate demeanor while interacting with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Promptly report all safety issues, hazards, or concerns to the MCL Supervisor and/or Foreman.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet production, safety, and quality goals.
  • Understand and follow all quality, setup, and job sheet instructions to ensure accurate production.
  • Minimize scrap and material waste throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain established quality standards and objectives and actively support the implementation of the Total Quality Control (TQC) program.
