Job description

Job Summary:
NuAxis Innovations is a federal IT company focused on enhancing customer experience in government solutions. They are seeking a Tier I Service Desk Supervisor who will lead and provide technical support to Tier 1 Technicians while managing incident management processes and ensuring adherence to service standards.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Supervises operation of help desk and serves as focal point for customer concerns.
โ€ข Provides internal escalation for the Service Desk technicians
โ€ข Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
โ€ข Ensures that the Service Desk is up-to-date with all known issues and problems
โ€ข Review tickets for compliance with SOPs
โ€ข Coaches staff
โ€ข Ensures adherence to applicable SLAs during call spikes
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข At least 2 years of current experience in supporting a call center-type service desk.
โ€ข Must have (or be willing to obtain as a condition of employment):
โ€ข Current Microsoft Certified exam qualifying you as a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) for Office 2007 or later.
โ€ข Certification in ITIL v4 Foundations, Help Desk Institute's HDA*, Customer Service Representative, or other IT industry certification.
