Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring a Production Worker / Bagging Machine Operator for a stucco and cement manufacturing facility in Riverside, CA. This is a temp position paying $17/hr on a early morning shift starting at 2:00 AM. In this role, you will load stucco and dry cement material into a bagging machine, monitor the machine as it fills bags, and stack and palletize the finished bags. The facility is an open-air environment, so temperatures reflect outdoor conditions.
Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Location: Riverside, CA
Job Type: Temp
Work Environment: Manufacturing Plant / Factory - open-air, outdoor temperatures
Responsibilities
  • Feed stucco and dry cement material into the hopper or intake of the bagging machine at the start of each production cycle.
  • Watch machine gauges and output to catch jams, mis-fills, or equipment issues and alert a supervisor.
  • Remove filled bags from the line and stack them onto pallets in the correct pattern.
  • Wrap or secure completed pallets for storage or shipment.
  • Keep the work area clean of dust, spilled material, and debris between cycles.
  • Follow production line pace and safety procedures throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements
  • 6 Months of recent warehouse experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating or tending automated bagging, filling, or packaging machinery.
  • Familiarity with palletizing - manual stacking or pallet machine operation.
  • Background in cement, stucco, drywall, building materials, or similar dusty/powder product environments.
  • Experience working in open-air or non-climate-controlled production facilities.
  • Ability to maintain consistent pace on a high-output production line.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
  • Ability to work a early morning shift starting at 2:00 AM.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Ability to work at a fast pace on an active production line.
  • Steel toe boots required - employee-provided.
