Job Description:

This person will be working within the Business Intelligence group to solve business related data problems. They will develop solutions within the BI tool suite, this may be a dashboard, or report all the way to developing programs of work that will assist with various operational processes. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the development and delivery/implementation of reporting and analytic solutions.


Core Job Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and document MicroStrategy reports and dashboards.

Develop queries/reports to retrieve and analyze data from various sources for projects, program, or reports.

Design, Develop, Test and Implement MicroStrategy Reports and Reports Objects.

Plan, test and implement enhancements to the BI environment on a regular release cycle.

Scheduling and maintenance of reports using Distribution Services and Narrowcast Server.

The Developer works closely with MicroStrategy Architect on architecture design, schema object development; user administration and security oversight; product installation, documentation, testing, and post-installation approval; and assistance with all schema-related deployments.

Provide training to peers and end users in the use of reporting, data provisioning and analytic tools. 



Qualifications

Required Skills & Abilities:


Experience in data solutions development, including data warehousing concepts, SQL knowledge. 


Strong Hands-on experience using MicroStrategy Suite of products (MicroStrategy 9 preferred). 


Knowledge of SSRS, SSIS or other ETL or BI tools.




Education/Experience:


A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of experience in an equivalent or related technical field.
