Ticket Taker
Department: Ball Park Operations
Location: Cincinnati Ohio
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary
The Ticket Taker position supports Ball Park Operations by scanning tickets and checking their validity prior to guest entry. Ticket Takers will also direct guests during the Go Ahead Entry process, ensuring their validity prior to entry. This role is critical in ensuring that only those with a valid ticket enter Great American Ball Park.
Minimum Requirements
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience: None needed
Skills: Friendly, positive, willingness to work

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Duty % of Time
Greeting guests and Scanning Tickets: 85%
Directing Guests to correct locations inside the ballpark : 10%
Redirecting Guests with invalid tickets: 5%
Reporting Structure
This role reports directly to the Chief Ticket Taker and Director of Guest and Event Operations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Exposure to outdoor environments including heat, cold, rain, wind, direct sunlight
- Must be able to work at least 30 Reds Home Games
Ticket Takers are members of the Theater Employees Local Number B-38 International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Technicians, Artists, and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories, and Canada. Those hired to be a Ticket Taker must join the Union, which includes paying dues and being a member in good standing.
