POSITION: Usher/Ticket Taker

DEPARTMENT: Events

FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Part-Time/Non-Exempt

THE ROLE

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Usher/Ticket Taker for Legends Global. Responsible for patron entrance, seating, and guest services during all events of the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts and Ritz Theatre and Museum.

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Require each person entering the facility to have a valid ticket or credentials.
  • Examine patron's ticket for accuracy of date, proper facility and show time.
  • Maintain position on post, taking tickets at a pace to keep patrons steadily moving into the facility.
  • Utilize scanning equipment to process patron tickets and count ticket stubs received as necessary.
  • Direct patrons to their assigned seating area.
  • Provide assistance with emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.   • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • One-year prior experience in customer service preferred
