Job description

SSO Engineer/Remote
This is primarily an operations and engineering support role. Looking for 1 engineer who can independently support our day-to-day SSO environment during 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM ET.
Typical responsibilities would include:
• Implementing and modifying PingFederate/PingAccess/PingOne application configurations and policies.
• Supporting application onboarding and routine SSO changes. • Participating in incident bridges, executing log reviews, and performing initial troubleshooting.
• Reviewing authentication, infrastructure, and application logs (primarily Splunk) to isolate issues.
• Performing platform health checks and basic operational support.
• Working incident and request queues, escalating more complex issues when appropriate.
The ideal resource would have:
• Experience administering PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingOne.
• Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and modern authentication concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting authentication flows and SSO integrations.
• Familiarity with Splunk or similar log analysis tools.
• Ability to work independently in a production operations environment and communicate effectively during incidents.
We're looking for someone with enough hands-on experience to confidently support production operations and routine engineering work while partnering with our senior engineers on more complex initiatives.
