Position Summary
The Customer Relations Specialist is a critical role for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and are eager to grow alongside a dynamic business. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, service-driven, and looking to gain cross-functional exposure in areas like sales, supply chain, marketing, and finance. You’ll be responsible for supporting our customers with accurate order entry and account management, all while contributing to the continued success of our customer relationships and internal workflows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enter and maintain accurate customer data and order details in the ERP system
  • Provide timely updates to customers regarding pricing, shipping dates, order status, and delays
  • Monitor open orders and proactively address potential delays to ensure on-time shipment
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams (e.g., sales, production, warehouse) to resolve issues and drive satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot customer issues, manage claims efficiently, and ensure closure within expected timelines
  • Support the sales team by managing accounts in their absence and assisting with internal coordination
  • Assist with marketing-driven initiatives, including customer campaigns and promotional shipments
  • Manage sample order processing, including special packaging or labeling needs
  • Delivery of a high standard of service that supports 100% customer satisfaction and long-term retention
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service, order management, or account support role
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Prior experience with fully integrated ERP systems (Epicor Prophet 21 preferred)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer communication workflows
  • Knowledge of the textile industry is a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently, adapt quickly, and prioritize in a high-volume environment
