MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.
The Senior Test Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the customer's system evaluation efforts, to include analyzing system requirements, developing comprehensive evaluation plans, and conducting critical data collection and verification activities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Serve as a key testing resource collaborating closely with software development, engineering, and operations team members.
  • Monitor, align, and validate testing activities with the customer's established data lifecycle management processes.
  • Leverage automated test methodologies, framework validation tools, and scripting practices to ensure system integrity.
  • Execute comprehensive testing strategies across multiple domains, including functional, performance, integration, and regression testing.
  • Draft, update, and maintain essential test engineering documentation, artifacts, and engineering reports.
  • Support systems and data flows utilizing enterprise data management and streaming utilities.
  • Parse, validate, and verify system compliance across various structured data types and file formats.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with 8+ years of experience as a Test Engineer in programs of similar scope; Four (4) years of additional Test Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented or scripting languages (such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Ruby, Go, or Bash) applied to test engineering.
  • Knowledge of AWS or comparable cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working within Linux-based operating systems.
  • Familiarity with test automation practices and integration into continuous delivery pipelines, with an openness to adopting new automation stacks.
  • Experience establishing data collection protocols, executing end-to-end test strategies, and translating test results into actionable quality insights.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
