FTS has an opportunity for an Integration & Test Engineer in Chantilly, VA.

TheIntegration & Test Engineer provides systems engineering and program management SETA support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Spacecraft Integrations & Test technical support to the Government Program Manager
  • Monitor space vehicle system engineering, design, development, production, qualification, integration, test, and test data review activities
  • Monitor spacecraft bus system engineering, design, development, production, qualification, integration, test, and test data review activities
  • Monitorcontractoractivitiesfortestequipment development anduse,integrationandtest,and discrepancy reporting and resolution
  • Monitorqualityassuranceactivities
  • Monitorpartsselectionandusage
  • Monitorspacevehicleandspacecraft missionassuranceactivities
  • PerformtestdatareviewwithSPOpersonnel
  • Review and provide technical evaluation of contractor submitted Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items or other technical design documentation,as needed
  • Work closely withtheContractor to help ensure the program office understands any schedule and technical changes, as needed
  • AttendSPOanddevelopment contractor meetingsatthe requestof the Government
Required Skills/Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with polygraph
  • BS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) in engineering discipline
  • 3+ years' relevant experience
  • Effectivecommunication,coordination,andcustomerengagementskills
  • Experience conducting or overseeing integration & test, spacecraft build or experience with MGSE or EGSE (Mechanical or Electrical Ground Support Equipment)
  • Experience with Launch Systems Integration
  • Strongwrittenandinterpersonalskills
  • Abilitytoworkinafastpaced,dynamic,andteamenvironment
  • Proven knowledge in Requirements Management, QualityControl, andConfigurationManagement

Expected Salary Range:$120,000 - $158,000 per year. Placement within the range is determined by qualifications, job-related criteria, experience, internal equity and market considerations.
