Job description

Elucidation Concepts is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support system integration and evaluation activities for hardware/software platforms. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in test planning, execution, and documentation across programs of similar size and scope. This position requires hands-on testing expertise, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work in secure environments.

Active TS/SCI Clearance + Polygraph required Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, traceability matrices, and test procedures. Write and execute test cases and generate detailed discrepancy reports. * Support the integration and testing of modern hardware and software systems.

Perform functional and regression testing across diverse platforms. Work with UNIX or Windows command-line tools to assist with test activities and write test scripts as needed. * Participate in technical reviews and status meetings related to system testing.

Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Test Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university. * Four (4) additional years of test engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope polygraph. Desired Qualifications: Experience testing or integrating complex hardware/software systems. Experience developing structured test documentation and ensuring traceability to requirements.

Ability to identify and document defects using standard reporting tools and formats. Proficiency with basic UNIX or Windows commands and familiarity with test scripting. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.

The employee frequently is required to talk and hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
