Job Description

Provide test engineering support to production program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Responsibilities include:

  • Defining test process plans and identifying the sequence of required test steps.
  • Defining required tools, instruments, fixtures, software, hardware, interfaces, and test chambers needed to execute the test process plan.
  • Developing tests and generating detailed test procedures, including narratives, diagrams, and photographs.
  • Generating detailed troubleshooting guides to aid in root cause analysis of test failures.
  • Analyzing test defect data and trends to help define and implement corrective actions.
  • Supporting change management activities for the production program IPT.
  • Providing day-to-day test engineering support to the work cell by:
    • Resolving technician questions
    • Investigating and solving test and/or product performance problems
    • Improving test procedures, tooling, fixturing, hardware, software, etc. to optimize the test process

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience in CCA test and circuit troubleshooting.
  • Ability to review Power, RF, Digital, and Analog test documents, including schematics, parts lists, drawings, and test requirements, to determine a testing method for a given device and develop detailed test procedures.
  • Ability to design and troubleshoot test fixtures interfacing between the tester and the product.
  • This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with multiple industry automated tester platforms including National Instruments, Autotest, NHR, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with design and test of CCAs in multiple technologies (digital, analog, power, RF).
  • Software development experience with multiple test-related languages.
  • Preferred: Three to five years of detailed CCA test and troubleshooting experience.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated experience with automated testers including:
    • Teradyne Spectrum 9100
    • L321
    • Autotest
    • National Instruments
    • National Research
