Job Summary:
You will be responsible to build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production electronic components and products, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, instrumentation, digital / analog electronic products, electro-mechanical products, test equipment, and applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing, and physics.
Essential Functions:
Production & Engineering Test Support
  • Fabricate test fixtures, and custom mechanical and electrical test solutions
  • Install and modify machinery, piping, and power transmission systems
  • Support equipment upgrades and new system installations
  • Utilize test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and automated test systems

Maintenance & Repair
  • Diagnose equipment failures and process issues using data analysis, schematics, and testing tools
  • Identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions
  • Perform advanced mechanical and electrical repairs on test equipment, production test systems and engineering test systems.
  • Repair and replace components such as motors, pumps, drives, valves, electrical controls, and instrumentation

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
  • Execute and improve preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs
  • Maintain accurate records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Provide input to enhance equipment reliability and lifecycle performance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance

Collaboration & Leadership
  • Partner with engineering, production, and maintenance teams on projects and troubleshooting
  • Provide guidance, technical support, and training to other technicians
  • Assist in project planning, estimating time and materials, and executing assigned work

Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and applicable electrical safety standards
  • Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, fabrication, and equipment repair
  • Proficiency with hand, power, and diagnostic tools
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication; Proficiency in reading comprehension (understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents) of the English language; Basic computer skills (understanding of basic software). Basic customer service and organizational skills.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Technology, Mechatronics or equivalent experience
  • Eligibility Requirement: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
