Job description

Walmart is seeking an Automation Controls Specialist at our South Florida distribution center. You will maintain PLC programs for conveyor and sortation systems, troubleshoot communication faults on industrial networks, configure VFDs and servo drives, and support automation expansion projects as the facility grows its automated capabilities.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of industrial controls experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting proficiency (ControlLogix, CompactLogix)
  • VFD configuration and troubleshooting skills (Allen-Bradley PowerFlex, Yaskawa)
  • Industrial Ethernet networking experience
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
