Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the execution of large extra high voltage (EHV) overhead transmission line projects, 345 kV and above. This role combines technical authority with leadership responsibilities, managing multi-discipline engineering teams, budgets, schedules, and project quality while supporting clients and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, engineering, and execution of large EHV overhead transmission line projects.
  • Serve as senior technical authority and engineer-of-record.
  • Manage multi-discipline engineering teams, project budgets, schedules, and design quality.
  • Support client engagement, change management, and project pursuits.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
  • 11+ years in overhead transmission line engineering.
  • Direct experience with 345 kV+ transmission lines.
  • EPC or utility-facing project leadership experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in PLS-CADD software.
  • Experience in 345 kV or higher transmission line structural design.
  • Strong technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-discipline teams and complex projects.
  • Effective client-facing and communication skills.
