Job description

Prefer candidates with Active Secret Clearance. Candidates must be able to obtain Interim Secret. Not required to start.

Job Description:

  • Seeking an Automated Test Equipment support engineer.
  • Duties include supporting the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used during optical and electrical checks for the production unit.
  • Additionally, the Engineer will support root cause failure analysis if the tested production unit fails.
  • Upon determination of the root cause, the Engineer would then recommend and implement corrective actions on the test station as required or in the case of a production unit failure, provide recommendations to manufacturing engineering.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Considered career or journey level.
  • Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Power Electronics
  • Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with Production
  • Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with Electrical Testing
  • Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with User Acceptance Testing
  • Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Validation Test Plans
  • Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Test Stations in a Production Environment
  • Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with common lab equipment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies
  • Familiarity with Troubleshooting test equipment with schematics and documentation
