Our electronics engineering team develops advanced instrumentation and electronic systems that support a broad range of industrial and testing applications. We are seeking a motivated Electrical/Electronic Engineer who is passionate about electronics design and excited to work in a hands-on, self-directed small-team environment.

Position Summary

The Electrical/Electronic Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and support of electronic instrumentation products including PID controllers, display units, power analyzers, power supplies, and other electronic systems.

This role is heavily focused on analog and power electronics design, circuit analysis, PCB layout, and product development. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, practical electronics experience, and the ability to contribute throughout the full product development lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on technically challenging products in a highly collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Electronic Design & Development

  • Design and develop analog and power electronic circuits for instrumentation and control systems.

  • Support the development of PID controllers, display units, power analyzers, and power supply systems.

  • Perform circuit design, simulation, testing, and analysis for new and existing products.

  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and technical design documentation.

Circuit Analysis & Simulation

  • Analyze electronic circuits for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

  • Utilize simulation tools such as LTSpice to validate circuit designs and troubleshoot issues.

  • Evaluate component selection and optimize designs for functionality and efficiency.

PCB Design & Layout

  • Develop printed circuit board (PCB) layouts and support prototype development.

  • Work with PCB design software such as Altium Designer to create production-ready designs.

  • Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to support product assembly and testing.

Production & Technical Support

  • Assist production teams in diagnosing and resolving electronic manufacturing issues.

  • Troubleshoot hardware-related problems and implement corrective solutions.

  • Support product improvements, modifications, and sustaining engineering activities.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare engineering documentation including schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and technical reports.

  • Ensure designs align with applicable engineering standards and industry requirements.

  • Support compliance efforts related to IEC or other applicable standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related engineering discipline.

  • Strong understanding of analog electronics and power electronics.

  • Experience with:

    • Circuit design and analysis

    • PCB design and layout

    • Electronic troubleshooting and testing

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small-team environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LTSpice or similar circuit simulation software.

  • Experience using Altium Designer for PCB design.

  • Familiarity with IEC standards and compliance requirements.

  • Knowledge of digital electronics including:

    • ADCs

    • DACs

    • Microcontrollers

  • Basic programming or embedded coding experience, preferably in C.

  • Previous experience working in instrumentation, controls, or electronics manufacturing environments.
