Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to provide resources with knowledge of professional aerospace engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment to effectively apply advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts to project development, execution, and advisory services. Includes developing V&V and T&E strategies and documentation (e.g. SRB, TAB) to V&V armament systems against performance requirements. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Nuclear Weapons Acquisition Division (AFNWC/NDB), which is resident at Eglin AFB, Florida, is the System Program Office (SPO) responsible for the acquisition.

As a Senior Test Engineer, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Verifies tasks including analysis of resultant weapons fly-out data to analyze accuracy of M&S results.

  • Designs and develops advanced test programs.

  • May lead the design and development of test plans and safety plans.

  • Writes advanced highly complex test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability.

  • Evaluates the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications.

  • Develops advanced highly complex test simulations

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience (Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, General).

  • Must have Flight test experience 8-10 years with 5+ years in leading teams and test management.

  • Flight experience as pilot, WSO, NAV, or FTE total of 5+ years military or civilian.

  • Must work well independently and in a team environment.

  • Must be familiar with DoW Acquisition processes or project management professional principles.

  • Must have program office experience.

  • Must possess an active Secret clearance (contingent on Special Access Program approval), with eligibility to acquire Top Secret.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degree or Test Pilot school graduate.

  • 10+ years or 5+ years in flight/route/mission planning experience

  • Experience in munitions handling, loading, storage checkout, transportation, and electronic combat/weapon/aircraft compatibility issues, and statistical methods/DOEs.

  • Experience in Fixed Wing/Bomber, and/or weapons integration.

  • Relevant data management experience.

  • Long range planning experience 3-5 years.
