MTA Bridges and Tunnels operates the largest bridge and tunnel network in New York City, managing nine crossings that include seven bridges and two tunnels. Telework:

Job Summary:
The Electronic Toll Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of electronic toll revenue by performing complex reconciliations of high-volume transaction and financial data across tolling, operational, and financial systems. The position supports revenue reporting, revenue assurance, financial reconciliation, and settlement activities for the Central Business District Tolling Program (CBDTP), Open Road Tolling (ORT), and related tolling programs. The Analyst investigates variances, validates revenue transactions, performs audit and compliance activities, prepares management reporting, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliation of electronic toll transactions across CBDTP and ORT environments.
  • Reconcile transaction-level data between Transcore , RAAS, Conduent processing systems, and MTA financial reporting systems.
  • Identify, research, and resolve unreconciled transactions, variances, and revenue discrepancies.
  • Investigate transaction lifecycle issues, identify root causes of processing exceptions, and recommend corrective actions related to tag reads, image-based transactions, rejected records, and processing delays.
  • Support inter-agency reciprocity settlement validation and reporting by ensuring the accurate allocation and reconciliation of toll revenue between MTA and E-ZPass partner agencies.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for all reconciliation processes and adjustments.
  • Support internal control compliance and revenue assurance framework requirements.
  • Collaborate with ITS, Toll Operations, Finance, Treasury, and vendor partners to resolve system and data issues.
  • Support testing, implementation, and validation activities associated with system upgrades, cutovers, interfaces, and reporting enhancements impacting toll revenue operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all policies and standards
  • May be required to work hours outside regular work hours, as applicable
  • Observe the work performed by contractors, as applicable
  • Review invoices and approve them if the work has contractual standards, as applicable
  • Address performance issues with the contractor, when possible, as applicable
  • Escalate issues to other parties when needed, as applicable

Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered .
Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in electronic toll collection, transportation operations, financial reconciliation, revenue accounting, business analytics, revenue assurance, or a related analytical field.
Experience working with large datasets and performing complex reconciliations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred :
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation methodologies.
Experience using reporting and business intelligence tools (Oracle BI, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar).
Experience working in a cross-functional environment with Operations, Finance, IT, and external vendors.
Experience in tolling, transportation, or public-sector operations.
Knowledge of toll processing systems, electronic payment systems, or revenue operations.
Experience performing reconciliation or validation of transaction-level data.
Experience analyzing high-volume transaction data and identifying operational anomalies.
