Job description

The Opportunity:
The Temporary Project & Data Support Analyst will provide critical short-term assistance to the Professional Services team during the absence of a full-time Software Consultant. This role focuses on project coordination, data analysis, Excel-based reporting, and using AI tools to accelerate content creation and analysis. The position supports many of the operational and analytical components of the Software Consultant role but does not require deep technical product expertise.
A background in accounting or budgeting is highly helpful, and experience with business requirements discovery or process documentation is strongly preferred.
What You'll Do:
The temporary resource will support (not lead) functions tied to the Software Consultant role, including:
Project Coordination Support
  • Track and followup on project tasks, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Assist with communication between clients, internal teams, and leadership.
  • Maintain shared documentation repositories for identified client projects and ensure files are updated.

Data Analysis & Excel
  • Clean, structure, and analyze client or project datasets.
  • Support requirements and process creation for clients and stakeholders.
  • Perform data validations and quality checks.

AI-Assisted Content Creation & Analysis
  • Use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot and Claude) to generate draft documents, summaries, requirements notes, analysis explanations, or communications.
  • Accelerate the production of project artifacts such as meeting summaries, data narratives, or documentation drafts.
  • Assist in transforming raw data or discovery insights into structured outputs.

Requirements Discovery & Documentation Assistance
  • Participate in client discovery sessions with senior team members.
  • Document business processes, requirements, gaps, and pain points.
  • Organize findings into templates or structured summaries.

Operational Support for Software Consultant Activities
  • Assist in preparing client-facing materials, including solution outlines, job aids or presentation content.
  • Support the team by preparing clear notes on identified issues or requirements.
  • Lead portions/sub-sections of prescriptive projects with limited variability such as vanilla/close to vanilla upgrades and migrations.

Requirement:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, functions, data cleanup, formatting).
  • Ability to use AI tools for writing, analysis, and content generation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in accounting, budgeting, finance, or related fields.
  • Experience with business requirements discovery, process mapping, or documenting requirements.
  • Familiarity with project management concepts
  • Exposure to software implementations, professional services, or public sector processes is a plus.

This is a temporary role for 9 weeks.
Location
This position will be hybrid with 3 days/week in our Atlanta, GA office.
