Position Overview
Our paid Internship program provides a rich and rewarding hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to learn about our organization. Our summer intern will work under the close direction of an experienced supervisor/manager to receive an overview of the different components of the organization.
Duration: This is a temporary summer internship. Official start and end dates flexible based on student's availability.
Compensation: $23.00/HR
Location: Santa Rosa, CA or Windsor, CA
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
  • Learn about all lines of business including transportation, production, and commercial.
  • Explore other areas of operation including safety and human resources.
  • Prepare a presentation on each line of business worked with.
  • Spend equal time between Production, Asphalt, Ready-mix, and Transportation. Getting general knowledge of each daily operations.
  • Other learning opportunities and duties, as assigned.
  • Regular and timely attendance.
  • Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in a qualifying program
  • Must be available to work between 20 and 40 hours per week.
  • Must have high attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform intermediate mathematical skills, including basic algebra.
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license.
  • Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Must pass post offer pre-employment-controlled substance testing.
  • Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.
