Job description

Lab Technician

Located in Danbury, TX, this temporary Lab Technician position offers an opportunity to work on-site with a potential for permanent employment. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing quality control in a lab setting, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data. You will work with various lab equipment, including gas chromatography and flow meters, and will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment. This position requires an Associate's Degree and proficiency in MS Office applications, along with the ability to perform heavy physical tasks and work outdoors in high temperatures

What You Will Do?
  • Work safely following all SOPs and contribute to our safety culture

  • Report and interpret data from testing gas mixes using lab equipment

  • Maintain and ensure the cleanliness of lab equipment and work environment

  • Communicate with customers, production, and shipping regarding orders

  • Perform quality control on starting materials following ISO17025 and ISO17034 guidelines

Your Skills
  • Basic mathematical skills are essential for accurate data analysis

  • Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees

  • Proficient with MS Office applications for data entry and reporting

  • Ability to perform very heavy work, including lifting and moving heavy containers

  • Ability to read and comprehend safety data sheets for safe handling of materials

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
