Responsibilities

  • Perform routine sampling and analysis for Fab process chemical, Fab process water, and clean room environment for a semiconductor company.
  • Spend significant time in a clean room environment.
  • Work with industrial chemicals, specifically concentrated acids and bases.
  • Collect and organize data, and report to internal/external customers.
  • Assist engineers with analytical method development.
  • Record and identify contamination levels.
  • Manage equipment-related maintenance and chemicals.
  • Maintain laboratory housekeeping (5S) environment and protocols.
  • Support Fab manufacturing operations and be part of our teams' on-call schedule.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree at a Science/Engineering/Technology school or equivalent experience is required.
  • 6-12+ months of experience working in a chemical lab is highly preferred.
  • Basic PC skills (Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office) are required.
  • Be a good analytical thinker and exhibit problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be a team player and have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Be a logical thinker and attentive to numbers accuracy.
  • Follow the standard operating procedures for chemical handling.
  • Be able to work night and weekend shifts when assigned, and work overtime if needed (there will be a cap on overall work hours).
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of instrumental analysis techniques.
