Job Summary
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Kentucky is seeking to hire a Temporary Tech- Laboratory Technician for the laboratory of Dr. Chang Guo Zhan.
The technician will be responsible for the evaluation of the potential drug candidates in animals (particularly mice and rats) for their pharmacological effects. For the animal studies on the drug candidates, plasma and/or other tissue samples will be collected for determining the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profiles of the drug candidates. 
This position will prepare experimental materials (small compounds and proteins etc.) and test potential of potential drug candidates for their in vitro activities.  They will also maintain supply and sample inventory, organize lab space, maintain safety documentation, manage chemical and biohazard waste, and submit detailed experimental reports to the supervisor.
