Job description

Company Description
Play & Learn is a nonprofit childcare and early education provider that operates and/or provides management services to a total of 14 programs, with 13 of them located in Montgomery County and one in Bucks County, PA. Play & Learn has been providing quality childcare and early education to children age 6 weeks through Kindergarten since 1981. All locations are licensed by the PA Department of Human Services, many locations operate a Kindergarten program licensed by the Department of Education, and our organization participates in Pennsylvania's Keystone Stars quality initiative.
Job Description
Position Overview
Responsible for managing document scanning, digital filing, and record retention in Microsoft Cloud systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Scan physical documents into digital format
  • Save and organize files in Microsoft Cloud (SharePoint/OneDrive)
  • Maintain structured digital filing systems
  • Ensure document confidentiality
  • Manage document retention and destruction
  • Shred documents per policy
  • Maintain logs of scanned and destroyed records
  • Support document retrieval for staff
Mission-Alignment
  • Build professional relationships and collaborate with vendors, administrative office staff and center-based staff to maximize the ability of Play & Learn and its affiliated organizations to support quality childcare and early education
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Create high accountability for one's self
Additional Information
This is a part-time, temporary position not to exceed 30 hours per week. Employees are not eligible for any benefits or paid time off. Employees will work in 4-hour shifts as available, either 8:30am-12:30pm or 1:00-5:00pm.
