Overview
As an Associate Creative Director within CoLab, you'll serve as a brand master and team champion-playing a pivotal role in driving creative excellence, team leadership, and strategic execution. You'll guide concept development, mentor talent, and ensure high-quality delivery across projects. You'll be the creative voice for assigned brands, translating strategy into compelling campaigns while fostering a team culture rooted in inclusivity, psychological safety, and shared purpose.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
  • Lead creative development, balancing hands-on copywriting with team oversight, aided by AI tools
  • Translate strategic insights into brand-aligned concepts and campaigns
  • Manage creative teams, assign work, and ensure timely, high-quality execution
  • Build strong client relationships and represent the creative voice across assigned brands
  • Mentor junior writers and contribute to team growth and performance
  • Guide teams in developing strategically aligned, high-impact creative
  • Steer creative direction with a clear vision for execution
  • Own projects from start to finish, managing multiple books of business and overseeing team assignments
  • Lead career conversations and performance management for direct reports
  • Ensure team members are aligned with developmental goals and agency standards
  • Collaborate with account and strategy teams to strengthen client relationships
  • Guide team communication and ensure clarity across all project phases
  • Ensure projects are staffed appropriately and find opportunities to expand creative scope

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a creative copy role, within healthcare or regulated industries
  • Proven ability to lead concept development and manage creative teams

  • Experience mentoring talent and managing performance
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across disciplines
  • Passionate about inspiring teams and driving creative excellence

Compensation Range: $106,780.00 - $170,937.00 Annually
. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
