Placement Type:
Temporary
Salary:
$100-103.44 Hourly
up to $103.44/hr
Aquent is partnering with a globally recognized brand at the forefront of innovation, shaping how millions experience technology and services worldwide. This is an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to a company celebrated for its groundbreaking advancements and unwavering commitment to excellence, making a tangible impact on diverse communities and helping to define the future of how people interact with technology and services.
Are you a deeply bicultural and bilingual creative leader ready to make a significant impact on how a leading global brand connects with the vibrant US Hispanic market? This pivotal role offers a unique 50/50 split between hands-on, high-volume copy execution and dynamic creative team leadership. You will be instrumental in ensuring authentic, culturally resonant communication, guiding the launch of new offerings that speak directly to diverse US Hispanic audiences. Your work will shape narratives, bridge cultural nuances, and foster a consistent, powerful brand voice across multiple platforms, directly influencing how millions perceive and engage with cutting-edge innovations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as both a lead writer and a creative guide, providing clear direction to a team of writers and editors while actively handling complex copy execution.
  • Craft clear, compelling, and culturally precise localized copy across all platforms under tight deadlines, maintaining a consistent brand style and tone of voice.
  • Serve as the primary reference point for US Hispanic culture within the creative department, ensuring work reflects an authentic understanding of diverse market segments, from Gen Z bilinguals to Spanish-dominant households.
  • Partner closely with Creative Leads, Brand, and Strategy teams to shape high-quality, highly collaborative creative work.
  • Adapt to a process-driven environment by leveraging proprietary translation tools, translation memories, and digital workflow systems to maintain meticulous quality control and consistency.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • 10+ years of copywriting experience within an advertising agency or brand-side creative team.
  • Proven ability to transition from traditional agency setups (concept-only) to a high-volume, execution-focused brand environment, comfortable actively writing and reviewing massive amounts of copy rather than just managing ideas.
  • Deep, lived understanding of the US Hispanic demographic, including nuanced linguistic differences across various countries of origin and acculturation levels.
  • Exceptional bilingual and bicultural proficiency, with absolute fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating strong, copy-driven creative work and localization expertise.
  • Proficiency in, or a strong willingness to learn, proprietary internal localization workflows, computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, and headline approval systems.
  • Ability to work fully on-site 5 to 6 days a week for 3 to 4 consecutive weeks at a time during critical, confidential launch windows (at least twice per year). For remote hires, this will require temporary travel and relocation to the local office for the duration of these peak cycles.

The target maximum hourly compensation for this role is $103.44/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
