  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Chicago's theater, dining, nightlife, sports, museums, festivals, and seasonal happenings to provide informed, current suggestions.
  • Assist with luggage storage coordination, package handling, and message delivery while maintaining guest privacy and security.
  • Uphold brand standards for appearance, communication, and service, consistently reflecting theWit's energetic and sophisticated style.
  • Accurately document guest preferences, notes, and arrangements in hotel systems to support seamless service across shifts.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a luxury or boutique hotel, front office, or concierge role strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Chicago's neighborhoods, dining, arts, entertainment, and transportation options, or demonstrated ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and interact confidently with a diverse, international clientele.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple guest requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and composure under pressure; comfortable handling sensitive or time-critical situations with discretion.
  • Proficiency with hotel PMS and reservation systems, email, and standard office technology; ability to learn property-specific platforms.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs typical of an urban luxury hotel.
  • High School Diploma or GED
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Naturally curious about the city and passionate about sharing insider experiences with guests.
