Job description

Pay: $20.00/hour (W2)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
Assignment Type: Temporary (contract) with potential to hire permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs
Location: 920 E 19th Street, Columbus, NE 68601
Drug Screen: Not required
Start: Can start once required background screenings clear

About the role

A-Line Staffing is hiring an on-site Receptionist in Columbus, NE. This role provides front-desk coverage and administrative support in a busy office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front desk coverage; greet and assist visitors professionally
  • Answer and route incoming calls; take accurate messages
  • Perform administrative support tasks in a fast-paced office
  • Use office equipment and Microsoft Office tools
  • Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with all levels of the organization
  • Maintain accuracy, attention to detail, reliability, and strong prioritization

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years administrative experience in a busy office environment (with demonstrated prioritization)
  • Professional, courteous, service-oriented approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well with others; able to work with little or no direction (initiative/follow-through)
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred (not required)
