Requirement/Must Have:

  • Franchise and Brand Strategy Building - 6+ years; ability to define positioning, identify growth opportunities, and translate a franchise's core DNA into clear strategies across content, product, marketing.
  • Strategic storytelling and communication - 6+ years; exceptional deck building and presentation skills.
  • Ability to synthesize consumer insights into actionable strategies - 6+ years.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to long-range franchise strategies and annual priorities that support sustained audience growth, cultural relevance, and revenue across all lines of business, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
  • Contribute to franchise narratives and strategic storytelling across all touchpoints, identifying how content, products, partnerships, experiences, and marketing ladder up to a unified brand proposition.
  • Help build, maintain, and evolve franchise bibles that define each brand’s core positioning, vision, audience, character truths, world, tone, canon, story principles, visual equities, messaging, and guardrails.
  • Develop and maintain franchise guidelines and brand stewardship tools that enable global teams, regions, licensees, and partners to execute consistently across creative, messaging, design, products, campaigns, and experiences.
  • Support the development of global and regional tentpole strategies and franchise platforms, ensuring campaigns, launches, and anniversaries are rooted in long-term franchise objectives.
  • Support the development of marketing toolkits, campaign guides, and partner materials that bring franchise strategy to life across key touchpoints.
  • Partner with creative, content, consumer products, digital, games, themed entertainment, studio tours, publishing, regional, and commercial teams to ensure franchise strategy is translated into clear, actionable direction.
  • Partner with the Franchise Digital team to ensure owned-channel strategies, always-on content, and social activations reflect the broader franchise strategy and deepen fan engagement.
  • Work with insights and analytics teams to identify consumer, competitive, and cultural trends, translate findings into strategic implications, and surface opportunities to strengthen franchise relevance and demand.
  • Create compelling strategy presentations, franchise reviews, and leadership materials that synthesize business context, consumer insights, brand opportunities, and strategic recommendations into clear, visually engaging narratives.
  • Maintain franchise calendars, priority trackers, and cross-divisional updates to ensure internal stakeholders understand key franchise initiatives, strategic priorities, campaign milestones, and upcoming decision points.
  • Support the exchange of best practices and strategic learnings across divisions and regions to build consistency and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Make decisions on how franchise strategy is translated into tools, frameworks, and materials to support consistent execution across teams.
  • Recommend positioning, messaging frameworks, and strategic approaches based on consumer insights, business priorities, and franchise objectives.
  • Final approval of franchise positioning, major strategic shifts, and long-range franchise plans.
  • Significant changes to brand canon, character direction, or global franchise strategy impacting multiple lines of business.

  • Strong project management, prioritization, and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and judgment, with the ability to navigate feedback, competing priorities, and cross-functional alignment.
