Position Summary
LADACIN Network is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Temporary Food Service Worker/Cook to join our team in Lakewood, NJ. This position is responsible for assisting with meal preparation and service, maintaining kitchen inventory, and ensuring food is prepared and served in accordance with health and safety standards.
This is a part-time position (25 hours per week) with the opportunity to work in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Essential Responsibilities
• Prepare food items for daily meal service
• Assemble, label, and distribute lunch trays
• Maintain kitchen inventory and supplies
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with general kitchen duties and cleanup
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Current ServSafe Certification required
• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
